This feature is only available in Genesys PureCloud.
The interaction widget is a new way for the agent to launch the auvious application in a tab inside the interaction without having to open the application from the “Apps” menu.
In order to install it click on ‘Yes, make it available’ at the Interaction Widget section in Settings. It will be installed when you click the install button on the last step.
The interaction widget offers two extra features that can speed up the time it requires an agent to join a call.
On opening the interaction widget the agent will land directly to the call screen. There is no need to click on the big round button to join.
If the interaction widget is not in focus (ex. the agent has opened the canned responses tab) the call is automatically put on hold.
